Love those skype calls!
this was a shot from a call last week. siena pulled herself up to the window sill in the living room and walked back and forth to pick up a plastic piece sarah re-placed after siena threw it on the floor. she then pulled herself up so she could see out the window. so cute!
we had a skype call a few days ago and siena showed off her new skills pulling herself up to the window seat in her room. you can see the amount of effort and concentration involved! she is getting ready to take off one of these days!

Making strides to prevent breast cancer
a week ago on the 17th, i joined kari and a bunch of family and friends to walk for MAKING STRIDES TO PREVENT BREAST CANCER. this year's theme was making it possible to have more birthdays and since it really WAS kari's birthday, our shirts all said "it's kari's birthday" on the back. at the start of the race, the entire gathering of pink shirts, pink hair and boas galore all sang happy birthday to her. an lovely and amazing thing.
we went back to bill and judy's house after the walk and in the fine tradition, ate dessert first and they we left. the dessert was a wonderful cheesecake. yummmmm
we drove home and didn't get here until 11. tiredness ruled!
