the remaking of a kitchen

today was interesting. we watched the removal of the carpet and pad in the living room and learned that we weren't done with the tile in the entry. we were told that it was going to take us AT LEAST 2 days to remove the concrete or quikcrete or whatever as well as the metal lath that remained....it was what we found under the tile. for some reason don took this as a challenge and worked all afternoon and has nearly cleared the area. it was pretty amazing!
