the remaking of a kitchen

we are running at a slower speed, but have put some things in order. the tree is dismantled and resting outside in its gigantamous white plastic bag. the lights are wound around pieces of cardboard and stored away for next year. we have left the outdoor lights in place....they look pretty in the snow for now.
we let the air out of the mattress and wrestled it into submission and into its plastic bag and into further submission to get into its box. whew. looks like there is more space in several rooms. we should probably be thinking of painting on down the hallway, changing the hall light fixture and perhaps painting the bathroom or studio or yellow room, but we are not shoulding on our selves at present. it feels good. :)
