Now it's not!
i am not sure what is going on, but it appears that it's not much. tbb hints that it could take longer to get going, so i am keeping the faith for now. our house is cooler than the recommended environment for action so my baby is sitting in the oven with the light on for now.....incubation time. ;)

that's great! i'm impressed you're trying your hand at a sourdough. i opted against the culture-growing, only because i worried i wouldn't be able to spot rancid stuff, and then i'd have to swear off bread if i... well, you know... if i hurled :)
