We planted a japanese maple!
this feels like a giant leap of faith, but we just went for it. we just planted a bloodgood japanese maple in the backyard. thinking positive, following the planting directions to the letter, it's up to gardening karma! it could grow as big as 20 feet tall and that wide too, but with our climate i doubt that will happen. however, we will baby it along and all systems go!

wow, that's a beautiful looking tree. it's one thing to plant a cuke, but quite another to plant a tree. right on and good luck!
