the remaking of a kitchen

i went to a lecture and supposedly dialogue today that was very disappointing. the presenter evidently didn't watch the excellent introductory video, and then proceeded to give a power point presentation that echoed the video but was poor in comparison. to add to the joy of the pp, he read it to us while stating that one of the problems in the world was lack of education. i was extremely good and didn't stand up to say that i was educated and he needn't read to me. bah! most of the slides were statistics which added immensely to my joy.
at one point he asked how much time he had, and then used up all the time available for a possible discussion with more pp slides. bah again.
these presentations tend to be excellent, so i was really surprised at this one. did i mention disappointed?
ok now i feel a bit better, i said my spiel and i'm glad.
