Rare treat
we noticed this rare treat (for a squirrel) sitting on the ledge outside the front window. we are waiting for someone to return and claim it.

i read your comment and was going to say YES it will freeze and probably is frozen at present. THEN i walked out to the living room to get some coffee and the squirrel was in the tree with the bun! i ran for the camera, but when i returned i saw only the tail of the squirrel as it headed around the corner. don told me that at one point the little rodent got the bun stuck in his/her mouth and sat on the branch with the bun sticking straight out. another photo op lost, alas!
