the remaking of a kitchen

friday was a really busy day! things seemed to be developing slowly, so my friend louise and i decided to have lunch at a neighborhood japanese restaurant. it was delicious, and we enjoyed having a quiet visit on our own. i got back home and we got a phone call from sarah so we got ready to meet at saul's deli for another feast. just another 2 lunch midday for me. i found a salad while everyone else enjoyed some fabulous sandwiches and we all shared some latkes. siena dived into the dill pickles which have become one of her faves!
