the remaking of a kitchen

just for the record, i made the easy and delicious pork chops on saturday night, and they were delicious all over again! yummm! on sunday night we had chicken curry over couscous, and it was really really good.
tonight my treat was going to barnes and noble for the first meeting of edesia. the latter is the roman goddess of food and each month for a year, someone will be discussing cooking and cookbooks....next month is mediterranean. this first meeting was on baking, and a food blogger, marie wolf, with whom i have chatted on line was a presenter, so we got to meet face to face. i also met her husband jim and daughter sarah. it was great! i think i really will bake bread now....i bought a new bread book, and this one may get me off home plate and WITH it!!! i hope so.
